The Amulet | Marquette series was exhibited at the Canberra Glassworks in 2009 as part of the 4D2 exhibition. These Amulets have been carved from slices of blown tube more than an inch in width. The depth of the slice gives an opportunity to carve deep undulating curves and sharp dramatic twists. The pieces were initially cut away with diamond wheels on a large lathe and then finished with traditional European stones on a mini lathe. 3 x 10 x 10cm (variable)
