About the Studio
The generous Ruth Allen studio is home to a complete hot glass setup, including a furnace, casting kilns, fusing and slumping kilns, and a range of cold-working equipment, such as large and small carving lathes, a diamond saw, a linisher, and a sandblaster.
The space also includes an extensive ceramic studio, allowing for advanced mould-making techniques that are invaluable for large production runs. For bronze casting projects, we are closely connected to Melbourne's oldest foundry, Meridian.
